Weldas Doo-Rag features: inner lining for cool comfort, is pre-shrunk, pre-softened and color fast for optimal washing results and has an air cushioned insert for sweat absorbent and comfortable helmet wear. Flame retardant doo-rags and beanie are certified: EN ISO 11611:2015 Class 1/A1+A2.
Doo-Rags and beanie
Doo-rags offer welders comfort and protection from heat, sparks and spatters of hot metal. The Doo-rag, also known as a bandana, is the modern version of the traditional welding cap. The sewn-in sweatband keeps the welder’s head cool and offers increased comfort when wearing a welding helmet. With the one-size-fits-all design, Doo-rags can be adjusted to fit head sizes from 46 to 68 cm. The solid coloured Doo-rags are made of 305g/m² flame-retardant cotton and are EN 11611 Class 1 certified. There are also doo-rags with prints, but these are non-certified.
Besides the Doo-rags, a welding beanie is also available in two sizes. The beanie provides the ideal balance between protection and comfort. As the welding beanie has no irregularities on the head, wearing a welding helmet is more comfortable. Made of the same flame-retardant cotton, the welding beanie is also certified according to EN 11611 class 1.
